ESPACE D’O
Those who know Orso’s story, the epitome of AMF’s spirit, also know that the Galerie de Valois of the Palais Royal has become its new home. For those who don’t know this story, we can say that ESPACE D’O is a space for a spirit travelling between Paris and Venice, the past and the future, a new opportunity and a return to the essence. Espace D'O is the space of this only apparently fragile coexistence, where ideas flow and take shape. It’s the dimension where the spirit of our group is captured and stylised. The Palais Royal, so steeped in French-Italian charm and influences, now also preserves the story of our 120 years of craftsmanship and experimentation. A story told in fragments so as not to trivialise it, a story that is still ongoing, allowing those who will follow to be part of it and renew its beauty and wonder.

THE CHAÎNOTHÈQUE, THE ARCHIVE OF THEATRE’S AND FASHION’S CHAINS AND MEDALS SINCE 1880
ESPACE D’O unveils the succession and intertwining of French jewellery and fashion trends from the late 19th century to the latest runway shows. Many of the items in the archive are still protected by copyright. That’s why the Chaînothèque can be consulted only under the supervision of our technical team, who offer excellent support in understanding the collection’s artistic heritage. The inspiration of this archive helps give life to new creations, where contemporary shapes intertwine with the history of Paris’s fashion houses, theatres, and streets. The Chaînothèque’s chains are still made in Aubigny, a few kilometres from Paris, in an atelier specialising in iconic artistic pieces, including the Mademoiselle chain created with Gabrielle Chanel and the Foxtail chain adored by Cleopatra (and now showcased at the Louvre).
ANDREA TORTORA’S HIGH-END CONFECTIONERY: A TASTE OF MYSTERY INTO THE DEPTHS OF DELIGHT
ESPACE D’O is not just a bridge between the past and the future or between Paris and Venice, the epitome of a creative synergy that’s been renewing itself for centuries and that we strive to carry forward. It’s also a space where to explore taste from every angle. The idea of bringing high-end Italian confectionery to the Palais Royal – in an area that entails taking the time to plan a tasting – takes the shape of Andrea Tortora’s leavened products and chocolates. Award-winning pastry chef Andrea Tortora has many things in common with AMF, including an eye for detail, a creative spin on tradition, a careful Xion of ingredients, and craftsmanship. This is how to ensure creations make history and continue to stir desire.

THE RESTORY, THE AFTERCARE SERVICE THAT GIVES LUXURY ITEMS A SECOND CHANCE
The Restory start-up was established some years ago in London to allow people to repair their beloved belongings, with the aim of helping fashion labels to easily integrate after-sales service into the brand experience.
AMF Group’s authentic dedication to sustainability and the technical expertise of the Group companies in the repair of luxury items have come together as part of a completely natural process, driven by a shared aspiration to work closely with luxury brands to make this a meaningful project, honouring the heritage of the brands and the work of their artisans over the years by adopting the good practices of the circular economy.
ESPACE D’O is where you can drop off luxury products that need repair. The place where they will be repaired is actually near Venice, proving once again how these two cities that have always shaped fashion and taste are deeply intertwined.
You can visit ESPACE D’O by appointment only. Please write to espacedo@amfgroup.tech
