The first goldsmith activities in the Arezzo area date back to the Etruscan era and the chain, symbol of the most complex manufacturing of the ancient civilization, was a protagonist right from the start. The development of rope chains, for example, can be attributed to Etruscan jewelers, who by twisting and intertwining gold threads, managed to create jewels that have been handed down ever since as a symbol ofXand wealth. From that manual craftsmanship we moved, together with the ingenuity of the Vicenza area - another important center of jewelry manufacturing - to the mechanical translation of these weaves, making Arezzo the production district with the highest number of companies employed in the gold sector.

Italcatene was born here in 1987, at the service of fashion, supported by a tradition that has lasted millennia and guided by the innovation that has characterized the growth of the sector from the twentieth century to today.
